I don’t want second lock-down to be all woe is me, so I’m naming it Self Love Month up in here instead. I haven’t really worked out what that means but I figured I’d spend the month trying to be creative and then share it with the group. I’ve even got a hastily hobbled together bucket list, so you know I mean business. As if I’m actually going to bake a cake.

Anyway, I talk about self love a lot and am a massive believer in self-care, so maybe I’ll spend this month exploring that. Doing the little things that make me feel normal and good, no matter how small they are. No matter how silly. Maybe I’ll inspire myself to go completely wild and I’ll discover a new talent I never in a million years imagined I would have. Like singing which admittedly, turned out not to be my thing but maybe playing the steel drums is.

I’ve Googled a bunch of self-love blog prompts too, so let’s see where this leads us. Don’t worry, you’ll still get your fair share of film reviews (the Blog Collab never sleeps). Business as usual with a self love dressing, if you will.

Tune in over the next few days for A few things I love about myself and a whimsical Autumn mixtape.

What are your thoughts on self-care? How do you make yourself feel better when the chips are down?
